The Forgotten Corners of The Italian Forum: Sydney’s Hidden diamond?

The Italian Forum in Leichhardt was once a gem. Now? Some corners feel... less Roman holiday, more forgotten courtyard.

Here’s what’s happening:

🏚️ 1. Parts Are Rarely Touched

Vacant retail spaces = untouched bathrooms, dusty tiles, smelly stairwells. Out of sight, out of maintenance.

🧼 2. Tourists Still Visit

And they notice. “Wasn’t this supposed to be cute?” one review read. Cleanliness is killing charm.

🧃 3. Food Waste + Pigeons = Disaster

Open bins + outdoor dining = bird poop, stale oil smells, sticky tiles. Not the Italian fantasy people expect.

🧹 4. No Central Cleaning Coordination

Unlike shopping centres, there’s no united cleaning plan. Each business is left to DIY.

🔄 5. We’re Slowly Turning It Around

A few committed tenants brought in Ultrix. We deep cleaned 3 units, added scent diffusers, and did pressure washing.

“It felt alive again,” one restaurant owner said.

📣 Call to Action

Love the Forum? So do we. Let’s clean it like it deserves. Ultrix turns forgotten corners into Instagram spots.
